Speech enabled automated attendant and company directory, based on the Industry leading Nuance® 8.5 Speech Engine
A large user group means many more names. These names within a company directory need to be supported by ASR. This is why the ASR is enhanced to support a much larger directory structure, a bigger number of names, a larger grammar size, and more user-friendly interaction. It employs Nuance 8.5, the latest release of the market's leading speech-recognition software, optimized for accurate, scalable, and easy-to-deploy voice-automation solutions. Nuance-powered voice systems give callers the enjoyment of faster and more efficient phone-based interactions, while giving companies the power to improve customer satisfaction and lower costs.
Further to performance, speech-recognition functionality is available not only at the auto-attendant level, but in other functions like composing, replying, forwarding messages and contact dialing.
Speech Access to Personal and Public Contacts
Telephony Office-LinX™ version 7.0 includes full support for contacts in Exchange 2000 and 2003. From the Web Client, users can enter the contact information of their clients, potential employees, etc. They can also attach files to the contacts and write comments. For example, a sales person can attach the contracts signed by the client to his contact information to find it more easily. He can also write notes to help him remember some important negotiation points, or simply the interests of his client. It is also possible to record a greeting for a specific contact or colleague. This greeting will play when this person calls. Taking advantage of the speech recognition component in Messaging Server, users will now be able to speech-enable their contacts: Just imagine not to have to look for a phone number while in the car. Simply login into your mailbox and say the name of the person you would like to talk to. Furthermore, users can decide which contacts they would like to speech-enable.

Speech-LinX™ allows Telephony Office-LinX™ users to simply request a users name and have them routed to the appropriate person. The benefits of the Telephony Office-LinX™ Speech enabled auto-attendant is that it provides all the functionality of an advanced call attendant with the addition of Speech Recognition.
Multilingual Support
The Speech module offers full multilingual support, Multi-tenanting for up to 99 separate organizations and departments, greetings which can be changed by setting a schedule, and users can configure both IVR trees and Holiday configurations. With Telephony Office-LinX's built in intelligent call router combined with Speech recognition, callers can be routed quickly and efficiently to the appropriate destination, improving their time efficiency and increasing overall customer satisfaction.
Speech enabled Company Directory
With Speech-LinX™ users can simply press a button on their phone speak a name and be routed directly to his/her extension. This is beneficial to large organizations where trying to remember a users extensions is next to impossible! No more published directories, no need to change and update lists with new and deleted users, staff can simply say the name and Telephony Office-LinX™ finds the person using the Speech-LinX™ speech engine.
